About

Humanities for All is an initiative, in conjunction with the Mellon Foundation, to provide further opportunities for all CCBC students to broaden their skillset and to discover subjects that would otherwise be overlooked.

The Humanities are about discovering what it means to be human. Subjects such as critical thinking, ethics, and world language enable students to explore new cultures, diversify their perspectives and expand their worldly knowledge.

Studying the Humanities can help students communicate their ideas better and contribute to their development as well-rounded humans. In learning about how humans have tried to make moral, spiritual, and intellectual sense of the world, students can become more empathetic and attune to social justice and equality.
